The Team Avalanche celebrated “Empathy Days” on May 16-17 4, 2013!  Many people today make quilts to represent their experiences. Students created “patches for the 2012-2013 Team Avalanche Respect Quilt in March. The patchwork quilt is made of different, small pieces of leftover cloth to make a large quilt. The boys and girls created a paper quilt from squares that represent the individuality of each student. These squares, when pieced together, will reflect the uniqueness of the all the students as a whole
